David Dodson is Sanku’s co-founder and Board Chair, a professor at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, and a renowned entrepreneur who has dedicated over 20 years to advancing food fortification and combating malnutrition globally. During a professional visit to Honduras, David witnessed the devastating effects of malnutrition firsthand, inspiring the creation of Project Healthy Children, an initiative aimed at saving lives through fortification. This transformative experience led him to leave the private sector and dedicate his career to addressing the solvable challenge of vitamin and mineral deficiencies worldwide. David has a wealth of expertise from an illustrious career spanning over three decades. He has served as a board member for more than 40 companies, worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, and actively invested in over 100 businesses. At Stanford University, he leverages his real-world experience to guide students in strategic execution and leadership, earning recognition as a recipient of the MSx Teaching Excellence Award. Additionally, David is the best-selling author of The Manager’s Handbook, a definitive guide to effective management.
