His Excellency Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, the 4th President of the United Republic of Tanzania, is the newest member of Sanku’s Board of Directors. A lifelong advocate for public health and development, Dr. Kikwete has played a foundational role in advancing food fortification across Africa. As Minister of Trade and Industries and later as President, he launched Tanzania’s first National Fortification Strategy in 2013. It was during this time that he encountered Sanku’s dosifier technology and called for its installation “in every village”, a pivotal moment that helped catalyze Sanku’s early growth. Today, Dr. Kikwete serves on over 27 boards globally. His unmatched leadership experience and enduring commitment to community well-being bring invaluable insight to Sanku as we work to expand our reach and impact. His appointment marks a significant milestone and a powerful endorsement of our mission to end hidden hunger.
