John Kang’arua

Director of Manufacturing and Production

John Kang’arua is a food manufacturing leader with more than 15 years of experience developing and operating production facilities across Africa. A former Nestlé executive, he has helped build nine factories across six countries, bringing expertise in food production, engineering, quality, product development, and manufacturing expansion. Alongside establishing these facilities, John has built the teams needed to run them, developing people and embedding a culture of quality, collaboration, and operational excellence. He is a Food Science and Technology graduate of Egerton University.

At Sanku, John leads manufacturing and production, with a central role in developing nutrient premix manufacturing capacity in Tanzania and Ethiopia. His work brings production closer to the markets Sanku serves, helping reduce costs and strengthen supply reliability.

By combining technical expertise with experience building factories and capable teams, John is developing the manufacturing capacity needed to deliver quality premix consistently as Sanku expands its reach across Africa and beyond.
